We’ll briefly introduce ourselves, and then go through the room and hear from all of you. Let us know your preferred name, pronouns, something about you, and a bit about your design/​technical background⁠—anything you would like us to know!

1. Fill out your entry in our Docs/​Drive class list. These will help us all get to know each other:

2. Join our Slack channel and say hello:

3. Sign up for a GitHub account if you don’t have one! Do this with your newschool.edu email, then apply for the student benefits.

   You may use this GitHub account in your career, and you can always change your username (and add other email addresses) later. We’ll be using GitHub for our code. Send us your profile link:

4. Sign up for Figma as well, and likewise apply for the education plan. We’ll be using Figma for visual sketching:
